Admissions/Enrollment
The candidate must be a high school graduate or the equivalent
and 18 years of age or older and able to benefit from the
program of instruction.
For admission, the candidate must submit an application.
The candidate must also submit a yoga resume, including influences,
lineages, styles, teacher training and workshop experience
plus goals for the program.
CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and first aid training
is also required for all trainees. Students must provide a
copy of a current CPR certification. Documentation supporting
completion must be provided upon enrollment.
Participants in the 300-hour therapeutic yoga instructor
training program are required to have completed a 200-hour
yoga instructor training program or its documented
equivalent in seminars, workshops, private or supervised group
classes. All applicants are required to enclose two letters
of recommendation, including at least one Yoga teacher and
one personal character reference, in addition to a copy of
their 200-hour RYS certificate or documented equivalent, if
applicable. All applications will be reviewed on an individual
basis.
